Teaching In The UK

All Primary schools have control over the structure of their own school day. The vast majority of UK Primary schools will finish no later than 3.30pm.

A typical example is illustrated below:

8.50 am Registration
9.00 am School Assembly
9.20 am Literacy
10.20 am Break
10.35 am Numeracy
11.35 am Classes
12.25 pm Lunch
13.25 pm Registration
13.35 pm Classes
14.25 pm Break
14.40 pm Classes
15.30 pm School Ends
